Most wedges work on the drop. These ask first, in a small window of their own: the size, the part to keep, the order of the pages.

Compress

Pick a target size or a percentage. Saves smaller JPG or WEBP images, MP3, M4A or Opus sound and MP4 videos.

  • A size in MB, or smaller by 5 to 95%
  • Resize images, pick MP3, M4A or Opus, or a lower video resolution

Metadata

Change or remove what a file says about itself. The picture and the sound are not encoded again.

  • A song's tags and cover, a PDF's title, author, subject and keywords, a photo's date, description and copyright
  • Remove all metadata at once, or only the location of a photo

Images

Crop

Drag a frame over the photo or pick a ratio. Saves a cropped copy in the same format.

  • Free, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9 or 9:16
  • The exact X, Y, width and height in pixels

Edit

Eight sliders for exposure, brightness, contrast, highlights, shadows, temperature, tint and saturation, and a live preview. Saves an edited copy.

  • Each slider has its own reset, and Reset all puts them back
  • Show original to compare with the photo as it was

Collage

Lay 2 to 20 images out in a grid, row, column or featured layout. Saves Collage.jpg, or Collage.png with a transparent background, next to the first one.

  • A square, landscape, portrait, wide or tall canvas, 256 to 8192 px wide
  • Spacing, rounded corners and a background colour, or none

Video

Trim

Keep the part you choose.

  • The start and the end to a hundredth of a second
  • Step frame by frame, and play the part you keep

Crop

Keep part of the picture.

  • Free, 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3 or 3:4, or the exact width and height
  • Find the frame to judge it by on the timeline

Split

Cut it into clips.

  • A split where the frame is, or 2 to 100 equal parts
  • Remove a split with its cross

Join

Set the order and save one video.

  • Move each video up or down
  • The first video sets the size of the one you save

Audio

Trim

Keep the part you choose.

  • Drag the two handles, or type the start and the end
  • Play the selection, or trim the silent ends

Normalize

Measure the loudness and save copies at the level you choose.

  • A target loudness from -24 to -9 LUFS
  • A true peak limit, so the copy does not clip

Channels

Make mono, keep one side, set each side's volume or swap them.

  • Mono from both channels, the left or the right
  • Stereo with a volume for each side, or the sides swapped

Bleep

Cover the parts you mark with a bleep or with silence.

  • Drag across the strip to mark a part, then move it or drag its edges
  • Play the original or the copy with its bleeps
